Do you accept referrals?

Yes. Our practice works primarily by referral. We're always happy to accept new patients from other dental offices as well as by recommendations from our patients and their families and friends.


Do you accept my insurance plan? And, what payment options do you offer for the portion of my treatment not covered by insurance?


Our office is happy to file your insurance electronically to speed up your reimbursement process. However, we do not participate on any insurance plans, nor do we accept payment from any insurance companies. We simply file as a service to you. As far as payment options, we accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.


What if I need to cancel an appointment? Will I be charged?


In order to avoid a cancellation charge, we ask that all appointment cancellations be made at least 24 hours ahead of time. This enables us to work in other patients' emergency visits.


I have a temporary crown in my mouth. What happens if it comes off or breaks?


Should the temporary crown come off, try to place it back on the tooth and then call the office to have it re-cemented. If your schedule does not permit you to do so, a temporary solution is to use Dentemp, which can be found at your local drug store. Do not use this material over implant crowns or bridges. 

If you have any further questions on what you should do, please call the office to speak to the doctor or an assistant. 


I'm a new patient and would like to save time by filling out my new patient forms prior to my visit. Can I get copies in advance of any such forms?

What should I do before I come in for surgery?

  • Eat a sufficient meal 2 hours before your appointment 
  • Take all medications prescribed to you by your physician 
  • Remove all makeup and jewelry.

I really don't like visiting the dentist, is there anything you can do to help me relax?


We understand that many people have anxieties about seeing the dentist, so we strive to create a relaxing atmosphere for your visit. We offer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for more complex procedures to keep you comfortable and relaxed.


How do I know when its time to come in for a check-up?


Patients typically come in for a check-up every 2, 3, 4 or 6 months, depending on individual needs. 

An average, a healthy adult benefits from a professional cleaning and check up every six months, however, every mouth is different. People who are prone to gum disease, bruxism, or other ongoing oral health concerns require more frequent visits. Others may only need a routine professional cleaning to remove tartar. We check thoroughly and methodically to determine what professional treatment will achieve your optimum dental health.
